LOWER POLICE NAB THEFT SUSPECT

A man believed responsible for a burglary and theft in North Cape May was taken in by police. Thomas Sloan, of West Cape May, was found in possession of a laptop computer that was reported stolen from a residence on the 100 block of Old Mill Drive. Sloan was arrested for burglary and theft. Police were tipped off to Sloan’s location through a phone call to police saying that a mentally challenged male was in the area of C.J.’s Bar and Grill and may be in need of assistance.
