LOWER POLICE FIND MARIJUANA DURING HANDGUN INVESTIGATION

An investigation into an illegal handgun lead Lower Township Police to make a marijuana seizure. Police arrested Brittany Kane, of the 3000 block of Bayshore Road, upon finding two pounds of marijuana in several bags. A 17-year-old juvenile runaway from Middle Township was also there and charged. They both face charges of Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Marijuana with the intent to distribute. Kane’s bail was set at $15,000. The juvenile was turned over to the Division of Youth and Family Services. An investigation is on-going into the handgun.
