LOWER POLICE CONFIRM RESPONSE TO SUICIDE THREAT WEDNESDAY

Lower Township Police today confirmed that they responded to the threat of a suicide in a neighborhood in North Cape May on Wednesday.  Police are telling us today that a 46 year old man threatened his own life in a house located in the 200 block of Roseann Avenue.  The man was eventually coaxed out of his home and underwent a mental evaluation.  Once inside, police found a .44 magnum handgun inside the man’s home.  There were no injuries.
