A plan to put a 750-kw solar farm by the Lower Township MUA could be bigger than initially thought. MUA Engineer Matt Ecker tells Coastal Broadcasting that they are looking at the potential of a 1.3 megawatts at their waste water treatment facility. The group is going to continue to explore that with Atlantic City Electric, while going forward with the first phase. The 750-kw farm will begin construction this April and go for about three months.
