LOWER COPS ARREST MAN FOR SLEEPING IN SOMEONE ELSE’S VEHICLE

Lower Township police have charged a 27 year old local man with taking a nap in a vehicle that he had just burglarized.  Police announced the arrest of Jason Wagner, who lives on East Greenwood Avenue in the Villas.  Police say they received a phone call on Monday evening from a woman who lives at the Channel Apartments in North Cape May.  The woman told police that a man was sleeping in her vehicle.  When police arrived, they found Wagner inside the vehicle; he had just placed money from the vehicle into his pockets before he dozed off.  Wagner was arrested at the scene for burglary and theft from a motor vehicle, and taken to the county jail.
