Lower Cape May Regional is going to be a “choice school” next year. Superintendent Jack Pfizenmayer told Coastal Broadcasting that the school district plans to bring about 60 new students in combined between the junior high and the high school. He noted a declining enrollment and the need to keep numbers stable to ensure state aid isn’t cut. Pfizenmayer said taxpayers would feel no additional pain with the new students and a lack of action could cost the district dollars from the state.
