FEMA officials came down to meet with residents of Middle and Lower townships last Friday. Lower Township Mayor Mike Beck said the event was well attended and that residents had a chance to voice their concerns regarding flood map questions. Flood maps and building elevations have come into question since Hurricane Sandy hit and a remapping process took place in the state. Final maps are still being worked on in concert with local municipalities.
