A Lodi man pleads guilty in a $40.8 million mortgage fraud relating to properties in Wildwood Crest. U.S. Attorney Paul Fishman announced that Charles Havath, of Lodi, plead guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud, and conspiracy to commit money laundering. The 33-year-old man faces the potential of 30-years in jail and up to a $1 million fine. This was the second arrest for mortgage fraud including a Wildwood island property in the past week.
