LOCKDOWN LIFTED IN NORTH JERSEY SCHOOL DISTRICT

A lockdown in a North Jersey community for an alleged gunman on the loose is now over.  School district officials in Hackettstown ended a mandatory lockdown at several schools early Monday afternoon after reports about a man weilding an assault rifle were unfounded.  Someone alerted a communications center about a man with a gun who was in a wooded area near some schools so alll of the buildings locked down until the all clear was given.  The origin of the threat continues.
