The Cape May County Open Space Board heard proposals from a few local communities regarding funding for projects in their communities. Middle Township and Lower Township are making a joint application to connect a bike path that would stretch from the Cape May County Zoo to the Cape May Lewes Ferry terminal. Stone Harbor is seeking funding for a new Freedom Park that will include an artifact from the World Trade Center. Decisions on this latest round of funding are expected early next year.
