LOCAL SWIMMER HAS A CHANCE TO MAKE OLYMPIC TEAM

A former St. Augustine Prep and University of Pennsylvania swimmer has a chance o make the U.S. Olympic Team Thursday night. Brendan McHugh, 26, will compete in the finals of the 200-meter breaststroke against seven other swimmers. The top two finishers will make the olympic team headed to Rio de Janeiro in August. McHugh’s event will be telecast Thursday night on NBC with other trials for the olympics.
