LOCAL PURPOSE TAX WILL GO UP ADDITIONAL TENTH OF A PENNY IN MIDDLE TOWNSHIP

Winter cleanup costs are going to cost the taxpayers in Middle Township. The committee in Middle voted to increase the proposed tax increase of 2.8 cents and bring it to 2.9 cents per $100 assessed valuation. The township has collected around eight times as much debris as recent years. The town says the additional tax revenue is needed to pay off the costs.
