LOCAL POLICE OFFICERS CARRY TORCH FOR SPECIAL OLYMPICS

Police officers from many departments in Cape May County are participating in the annual torch run for Special Olympics Friday morning. The officers are running with a torch to raise money for the New Jersey Special Olympics Program, which is a project that the police departments endorse. Officers in many counties around the Garden State are participating in the annual torch run; the local event will wrap up early this afternoon.
