LOCAL MAN SENTENCED FOR TRAFFICKING CIGARETTES

44 year old Muhammad Shafique of Egg Harbor Township will be spending the next five years of his life behind bars for trafficking cigarettes.  Authorities say Shafique trafficked nearly 150,000 cartons of smokes and laundered the cash through a small supermarket in Pleasantville.  Shafique will also spend time in prison for participating in a mortgage fraud scheme.
