New Jersey State Police say a local man was involved in a two-vehicle accident on Route 9 Tuesday morning. Police say a pickup truck being driven by 71 year old Albert Unruh of Dennis Township crossed into the southbound lane of Route 9 Tuesday morning and struck another vehicle driven by 43 year old Michael Hastings of Delaware. Hastings was airlifted away from the accident and taken to an Atlantic City hospital where he was treated and released. The accident took place around 9:20am on Tuesday morning near the border of Middle and Dennis townships.
