LOCAL MAN CHARGED WITH VEHICULAR HOMICIDE

A 21 year-old man from Cape May Court House has been charged with vehicular homicide as the result of an acident on the Garden State Parkway in July. Chaz Desalis reportedly drove off the parkway in Upper Township on July 23rd, crashed into a tree, and his 19 year-old passenger, William Duhadway of Havertown, Pa., was killed. Desalis and his brother Stephen, 23, received minor injuries in the crash and none of the victims were wearing seat belts. Desalis had been previously charged with DWI in the incident.
