LOCAL MAN CHARGED IN WILDWOODS MORTGAGE SCAM

Another local man has been charged in connection with a big mortgage scam based in the Wildwoods.  Authorities announced that 49 year old Daniel Cardillo of Wildwood and 54 year old John Leadbeater of Kearny have been charged and accused of committing wire fraud.  Cardillo is expected to appear in a federal court in Camden on Monday; Leadbeater surrendered to agents last week.  Cardillo is accused of being a straw buyer who allegedly bought condos built by distressed developers.
