LOCAL MAN ARRESTED FOR ELUDING POLICE ON ATV

Middle Township Police announced the arrest of 21-year old Craig White Jr. on Friday after White attempted to elude police on an ATV.  Township police spotted an at ATV driving on Route 9 near the site of the old Burleigh Wawa; the driver and a passenger were not wearing helmets.  Police attempted to pull over the ATV, but it turned around and went in the other direction at a high rate of speed.  Police eventually found White hiding on the railroad tracks near Main Street.  White was charged with many motor vehicle violations, and eluding police, which is a second degree crime.
