Local legislators held a press event in Vineland Tuesday calling for the state to finally open unemployment offices throughout New Jersey. They are calling for the State to open these offices as of March 1st or they will call for pay cuts for top leadership. The offices were closed more than 700 days ago due to the pandemic; lawmakers say everyone else is back to work, and unemployment offices should be open with no exception.
