The Wildwoods Vietnam Memorial Wall Foundation is pleased to announce a special event honoring America on the 4th of July. The Wildwoods Beach and Boardwalk Patriotic 5K Run and 1 Mile Family Walk. Hosted in the cities of Wildwood and Wildwood Crest on Monday, July 4, 2011 at 9am, along the Boardwalk.
The Patriotic 5K Run is open to all ages and will award Patriotic Medals to the top three male and female “Over All” runners and the top three male and female runners in the following age brackets: 19 and Under, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69 and 70 plus.
All proceeds from this event will go to daily expense of maintaining of the Wildwoods Vietnam Memorial Wall.
A commemorative t-shirt will be guaranteed to all participants who pre-register before July 1, otherwise while supplies last. Onsite registration will begin at the Wildwoods Convention Center at 7am.
