LOCAL FIREMEN ASSIST IN DIRECTING TRAFFIC AT BUSY INTERSECTION

The traffic signals on Route 47 in Rio Grande at the entrance to the Shoprite Plaza froze and would not change at about 9:30am Thursday morning. Members of the Goshen and Green Creek Fire Police were called in to direct traffic until the lights can be repaired. Expect traffic delays near the problem area.
