Local fire companies responded to a call of a car fire near the entrance to the Belleplain State Forest early Wednesday morning. Fire crews arrived and found the car parked along side the roadway with the occupants safely outside the vehicle. Woodbine Avenue was closed for about an hour following the car fire.
