On Thursday morning, Atlantic City Electric reported via their website that less than 200 customers remained without power after Tuesday’s microburst weather event. Atlantic City Electric had restored power to over 38,000 customers knocked out from the storm by midnight Wednesday and any remaining customers are expected to be restored by Thursday afternoon. Another round of thunderstorms is expected to hit the area on Thursday and the company says it’s ready to deal with additional outages with help from overhead line contractors and crews from its sister utility companies.
