The man who pioneered how people watch NFL content is dead at the age of 98-years-old. Ed Sabol, who was born in Atlantic City, is dead at the age of 98. Sabol was inducted in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Sabol founded “NFL Films,” and collected 52 Emmy awards for his time as chairman of NFL Films over the course of 32 years. Sabol would retire in 1995 from that position.
