LOCAL CHURCHES REACHING OUT TO STORM VICTIMS

Dozens of people, many from North Jersey, are currently living in hotels in the Wildwoods. Area churches have banded together to help those who have been displaced by Hurricane Sandy.  The Middle Township Gazette reports that members from various churches in Cape May County have met to discuss “adopting” people living at the hotels until they can find suitable housing. Churches have been asked to fill out a participation letter of commitment before the program officially gets underway.
