LOCAL BUSINESS SPONSORS LITTER FREE AWARENESS CAMPAIGN FOR BEACHES

A local business has launched a crusade against litter on the beaches. Tony Visalli, owner of the Island Ice Cream Company, has initiated a “Litter Free” awareness campaign to urge people not to litter the beaches. The City of North Wildwood has joined the effort by posting “Litter Free Zone” signs on the backs of their lifeguard stands. Visalli has offered to provide signage to any local beach community who would like to join his campaign to enroll the public in keeping their beaches litter free.
