Local beaches are open for business as Memorial Day weekend arrives at the Jersey Shore. Cloudy and cool weather will begin the weekend, and many motels and hotels at the Jersey Cape remain closed for the weekend, along with indoor seating at restaurants and bars. Curbside pickup for retail is allowable this weekend. Some towns have waived beach tag fees this weekend and all beach communities are requiring social distancing on the beach.
