A prolific basketball star from a popular local sports family has lost a three year battle with cancer. Former Wildwood Catholic basketball standout Jim Leahy passed away Thursday in Texas. Leahy was a 1,000 point scorer at Wildwood Catholic and operated Leahy Sports for years in Rio Grande.
