Congressman Frank LoBiondo was the keynote speaker at the Cape May County Chamber luncheon today. LoBiondo provided a “legislative update” on what is going on at in Washington D.C. and what will happen. The expiration of the “Bush tax cuts” were among the hot topics of discussion. LoBiondo said he is unsure what will happen with them. The Congressman also predicted that a lame duck session of Congress after the November election will provide a wide range of uncertainty. LoBiondo is concerned that is Democrats lose the majority in office that they will try and push through a wide ranging agenda that President Barack Obama wants. It is predicted that immigration reform will be looked at this year.
