Congressman Frank LoBiondo went viral in Cape May County on Wednesday. LoBiondo gave a speech on the floor of the House of Representatives, ripping the House for not voting on the $60 billion Hurricane Sandy aid package. News broke at the end of the day on Wednesday that a vote will take place on the House floor of the full $60 billion emergency supplemental funding requested by New Jersey-New York-Connecticut in to rebuild in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. In a meeting with House Speaker John Boehner (OH-08) and Majority Leader Eric Cantor (VA-07), LoBiondo and members of the New Jersey and New York delegations were granted a full House vote this Friday on $9 billion for the National Flood Insurance Program with a subsequent vote of the remaining $51 billion to be considered on January 15th.
