LOBIONDO TO PUSH FOR EXTENSION OF UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFITS IN ATLANTIC CITY

Workers that have been let go in Atlantic City are finding it tough to find work. Jobs in the resort are shrinking and could be reduced again with the possible closing of the Trump Taj Mahal. Congressman Frank LoBiondo said he is working on a number of steps to help Atlantic City, but is seeking an extension of unemployment benefits for those workers because many will not be able to find jobs by the times their benefit is up. He also said partnerships need to be developed within the city to help it grow going forward.
