Congressman Frank LoBiondo plans to fight a portion of President Trump’s budget that shifts expenses related to the National Flood Insurance Program. The budget plans to eliminate a discretionary appropriation to the NFIP totaling $190 million. LoBiondo says lawmakers cannot ask homeowners affected by Hurricane Sandy and other storms to bear an additional burden.
