Several Republican U.S. Congressmen published a letter in the Philadelphia Inquirer over the weekend that stated their position on the federal government shutdown. Congressman Frank LoBiondo was one of the authors of the statement that said that Republicans were working with moderate Democrats to support a short-term, clean funding bill to get the government back to work. The congressmen stated their opposition to “Obamacare” and said they would agree to a plan to reopen the government for six months if congress repealed the medical-device tax.
