New Jersey Congressman Frank LoBiondo has joined other colleagues in Washington to ask congressional leadership for a delay in the implementation of increases in flood insurance rates. Those rates are set to go up in less than three weeks. LoBiondo and other congressional members say our region is still recovering from the impact of Hurricane Sandy and residents cannot afford increases in their flood insurance premiums. Among those getting a copy of the letter LoBiondo co-signed, House Speaker John Boehner.
