LION PASSES AWAY AT CAPE MAY COUNTY ZOO

Government officials have confirmed the death of a lion at the Cape May County Zoo. The 16 year old male lion, Brutu died on Friday. Freeholder Marie Hayes said the lion “suffered from complications of age related arthritis and spinal cord issues.” Zoo Director and Veterinarian Dr. Hubert Paluch, reported that, “Bru” began having weakness and lack of coordination of his hind legs during this past winter.
