A man was charged with trying to break into a home in Linwood. Police were called when a resident heard someone trying to pry open a window. Matthew Hauser, of Egg harbor Township was taken into custody by police. It was determined he was responsible for three motor vehicle burglaries, one residential burglary, and two attempted residential burglaries. He was placed in the Atlantic County Justice Facility on $100,000 bail.
