LINWOOD MAN PLEADS GUILTY TO SCAMMING ELDERLY COUPLE

A Linwood man plead guilty to stealing $125,000 from an elderly couple he met as a caseworker for the Atlantic County Adult Protective Services. William Price was indicted in March along with the owner of an in-home senior care company in Atlantic County and her sister. Price plead guilty to theft by deception. Under the plea agreement he will be sentenced to five years in state prison and must pay full restitution of the $125,000 he stole. Official sentencing will take place on Sept. 18.
