LIMO DRIVER BUSTED IN AVALON FOR DRUGS, BEER

Avalon Police have announced the weekend arrest of a man who was driving a 14-seat passenger van in Avalon on drug and DUI-related charges.  Avalon Police arrested 54 year old Owen Darling of Northfield, who owns and operates a company called Ace Transportation.  During a traffic stop early Sunday morning, Avalon Police found a pipe with marijuana inside the vehicle.  The van was searched and police found more marijuana and an empty can of beer on the floor board by the driver’s seat.  Darling was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and DUI.
