St. Joseph High School football fans and boosters may finally get their wish in 2014 for night football at their home field in Hammonton. City Council voted on Monday to approve a parking and public safety plan that would allow for the installation of lights for the first time. The plan designates a parking area for about 350 cars and requires the high school to pay for additional police officers to patrol the night games. If the Planning Board approves the plan on August 7th, boosters of St. Joe Wildcat football will begin fundraising efforts to purchase and install lights at the field.
