An airplane that was on its way to Atlantic City didn’t get out of the Sunshine State, according to CBS 4. The Florida television station reports a Spirit Airlines flight on Tuesday was hit by lightning and didn’t complete its trip to Atlantic City. Luckily, no one was hurt and there were no reports of significant damage to the plane. According to the report, this is the second time this year that lightning hit a Spirit Airlines flight from Ft. Lauderdale to Atlantic City.
