LIFELINE FOR AC CASINOS: INTERNET GAMING

Internet gaming is now moving closer to becoming legal in New Jersey.  A new bill was approved by a key Assembly committee on Monday and it now advances to a vote in the New Jersey Assembly.   The measure would permit Atlantic City casinos to offer internet gaming and it is seen as a major revenue boost for the sagging casino market in the Garden State.  Governor Christie will likely support the bill as long as it does not interfere with Atlantic City’s potential recovery.
