LIFEGUARD COVERAGE CUT BACK FOR SEPTEMBER

Swimmers beware, lifeguard crews on the beaches are cut back or non-existent after Labor Day. Many towns, including Wildwood and Wildwood Crest will offer limited coverage through Sunday, Sept. 8th. For some communities, like Ventnor, Labor Day was the final day for the lifeguard patrols. Beach patrol officials urge swimmers to use only guarded beaches for their own safety.
