The Ocean City Gazette reports that the Ocean City High School Athletic Director, Christine Lentz, has retired after over seven years in the position. Lentz has been part of the OCHS family for 30 years, starting as the girls basketball coach in 1985. During her career she won 217 games, the 11th highest win total in Cape-Atlantic League history. Lentz succeeded Paul LeFever as Ocean City athletics director in 2008 and during her tenure saw the school win championships in field hockey, boys cross country, boys soccer, girls soccer, girls tennis, and girls swimming.
