LEGISLATURE TO TAKE UP ATLANTIC CITY BILLS IN JUNE

A five bill package to help Atlantic City will be voted on in the Assembly and Senate next month. Assemblyman Vince Mazzeo said the Assembly would take the package up June 11 and the Senate on June 25. Among the items the bills would address is setting a payment in lieu of taxes program that would set standards on how much the casinos would pay, so Atlantic City could afford consistently changing tax appeals.
