LEGISLATION TO EXEMPT BEACH BARS FROM NOISE ORDINANCE ADVANCES

Beach bars in Atlantic City will have a lot more freedom if a new bill continues through Trenton. Legislation to waive a noise ordinance in the Atlantic City Tourism District for beach bars and amusements rides passed through a key Senate committee. The bill now heads to the full Senate for consideration. Senator Jim Whelan said the bill will provide more flexibility for casinos to create their own beach bars.
