A true legend in entertainment at the Jersey Shore has passed away. Joe Bilbee, who starred as a DJ and later became part owner of Moore’s Inlet in North Wildwood, passed away early Tuesday morning on a treadmill from an apparent heart attack. Bilbee was 64 years old. Friends and patrons of the defunct nightclub are remembering Bilbee this week as one of the best entertainers ever to appear in the Wildwoods. Moore’s Inlet closed in the city back in 2005 to make way for condo development. Deborah Moore, the Vice President of a condominimum board who knew Bilbee, confirmed his death to Coastal Broadcasting on Tuesday afternoon. Bilbee was to turn 65 years old next week.
