Chuck Lear received an endorsement from the Cape May County Chiefs of Police Association in his run for Mayor of Cape May. The organization issued a resolution which stated that they have “full confidence in Clarence Lear to serve the residents of Cape May in an ethical manner and follow all regulations, laws and Attorney Guidelines while performing the duties of Mayor.” Middle Township Police Chief Christopher Leusner is president of the organization.
