LEAGUE CONVENTION KICKS OFF IN ATLANTIC CITY

Public employees refer to it as “The League”.   The annual New Jersey League of Municipalities Conference kicked off this week in Atlantic City and runs through Thursday.  Bill Dressel is the executive director of the League; he says towns continue to try to do more with less and consolidate services where it makes sense.  State officials are telling local government leaders not to expect more state aid in coming years.
