LAYOFFS TO START AT PROGRESSO PLANT IN VINELAND IN MARCH

Layoffs are going to begin soon for the workers of the Progresso Soup factory in Vineland. General Mills filled WARN notices to 65 employees for them to be let go in March. The rest of the employees will be retained until the plant shuts down in the summer. Officials are still working on trying to save the plant with General Mills, but nothing official has been decided at this point.
