It appears 20 police officers could be let go in Vineland. The Daily Journal reports that Mayor Robert Romano signed the layoff notices and gave them to Vineland police Chief Timothy Codispoti. Romano is giving the chief and his staff a few days to review if any more savings can be found. Almost two weeks ago, an announcement was made that $300,000 would be cut in police overtime to save 10 patrolman’s jobs. If more concessions can be found, some of the jobs could be saved.
